ActionCOACH’s global CEO takes on new role to help grow the UK franchise

Having spearheaded the growth of ActionCOACH for almost two decades, its global CEO Vic Ciuffetelli felt that managing the business-coaching franchise meant he couldn’t work as closely with its franchisees as he wanted. Fortunately, Ian Christelow, co-founder of ActionCOACH UK, had the perfect opportunity in store for him: helping to grow its operations in Britain as part of the franchise’s support team.

The UK network is already the fastest-growing of all ActionCOACH regions in the world. But the business hopes to become even better: its ultimate aim is to control over 6% of the market and grow the number of franchisees from roughly 170 to 3,600. And with Ciuffetelli’s deep knowledge of the brand, the franchise has good reason to feel bullish about the success of this ambitious plan. Having spent 17 years as the franchise’s global CEO, Ciuffetelli has helped expand the brand into 72 countries and also facilitated the move of the company’s global head quarters from Brisbane in Australia to Las Vegas.

Commenting on his new role, Ciuffetelli said: “When Ian proposed a new challenge of helping the UK franchise network to grow their businesses it struck a chord with me as I had missed working closely with our coaches – something you rarely get to do in a CEO role. My wife, Marilyn, and I have visited the UK many times but only as tourists and the idea of living there and becoming part of a community really appealed to us.”

Bringing the knockout combo of an unrivaled understanding of the market with buckets of excitement for the new role, Ciuffetelli is sure to be a hit at ActionCOACH UK. /></p>
