Bargain Booze to waive franchise fees for 100 new franchisees

Aside from sarcasm, there can surely be nothing the British public loves more than a good deal on booze. And, as far as Bargain Booze is concerned, it isn't just customers that should benefit from cut-price offers. The national off-licence chain, which is owned by Conviviality Retail, is looking to add an additional 100 franchisees to its 600-strong network and is giving them a rather attractive incentive.

The first 100 retailers to sign up as franchisees during Bargain Booze's 'From WHO to WOW in 24hrs' campaign will receive a rebrand, fascia and new tills completely free of charge and won't have to pay any franchise fees for the first year. The rebrand will take place overnight so new franchisees needn't worry about having to close their existing business during its transformation into a Bargain Booze outlet. They will also be given access to Conviviality's back office support network and franchisee share incentive scheme.

“Our franchisees are at the heart of everything we do. Their success is our success so helping them get their business off to a great start is really important to us," said Amanda Jones, COO at Conviviality Retail. “The campaign will give us an opportunity to open our doors to new franchisees, with an overnight store re-brand taking away the hassle of having to close your business while you switch fascia. Bargain Booze is a simple franchise model for a retailer to operate and we want to make it as easy as possible for retailers to join us."

She added: “We recently announced a series of measures to enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing and a positive culture between the franchisee network and we look forward to welcoming new partners into our growing family.”

Given how much us Brits love a cheap bottle of plonk, it's hard to imagine a Bargain Booze franchisee ever being short of business. So you better sign up before the campaign ends.
