The kitchen franchise's successful summer continues as it announces its arrival on the Emerald Isle with the opening of its first showroom in Belfast
It's certainly been a busy old summer for Dream Doors. Only last month, we reported on the news that it had installed its 40,000th kitchen and the kitchen renovation franchise has now announced that it is set to expand across the Irish Channel.
The company's expansion into Ireland will be led by Jon O'Hara, who has opened its first franchised showroom in Belfast and will also hold the master licence for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. He is aiming to open five new showrooms across the two countries by the middle of next year.
O'Hara joins Dream Doors after a long career in retail, during which he has worked for brands such as Dream Beds – where he served as an area manager – and Currys. Suffice to say, he is excited about not only being the first Dream Doors franchisee in Ireland but also the holder of the master license for the whole of the Emerald Isle.
“Dream Doors is a proven success and I think the people of Belfast are going to relish the chance to get a kitchen makeover at a far more affordable price and without weeks of hassle and disruption,” said O'Hara. “Lisburn Road is a wonderful location for the first Dream Doors showroom in Ireland but Belfast really is just the start. The model can work anywhere and we are aiming to have another five showrooms open across Ireland by June 2016.”
Troy Tappenden, managing director of Dream Doors, added: “2015 has been a year of unparalleled success for Dream Doors and our launch into Ireland really sets us up for the rest of the year and into 2016. Ireland is a potentially massive market for us, both north and south of the border, and Jon is absolutely the right person to help with that expansion.”
We'd say that it's been a dream summer for Dream Doors.
