The coronavirus epidemic sweeping the world has caused thousands of people to be left out of job as businesses close down temporarily and people are forced to work from home. In the spirit of kindness, Home Instead Senior Care, UK’s top franchise home care company, is now looking to employ a further 3,000 caregivers across its UK branches to meet the rising demand in caring for the elderly.

According to government advice, those over the age of 70 are advised to socially distance themselves and remain at home. Elderly people need all the help they can get during this difficult time. Home Instead is now recruiting caring and compassionate individuals to join their 212 franchise teams across the UK to meet the rising demand and also bring a job boost to those who need it.

“We want to ensure we can continue to commit to caring for our older clients especially following the government’s advice to remain at home and socially distance; which inevitably will leave many elderly people unable to leave their homes or see the people who they may usually do day-to-day,” Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead Senior Care UK said. “We want to harness the community-spirit and kindness that is being demonstrated all over the UK right now, as those attributes are key to our workforce. In particular we are seeking those who have recently lost a role in one of the sectors which are struggling at this time that might have transferable skills.

“There are so many people out there who could help us make a positive difference to older people through relationship-led care. We are urging them to step forward and contact our local franchise offices.”

Due to the rising demand in elderly care, Home Instead want to ensure there are enough caregivers available to meet the demands of both their existing clients and new ones.

Home Instead will provide training to all new recruits so no qualifications or experience in the area is needed. There are currently more than 3,000 new vacancies across its UK franchise offices, including roles for Care Managers, Recruiters and Schedulers.

Home Instead is also opening up new franchise opportunities to expand into new areas and deliver their services to even more local communities.
