Finding the right drainage problem solution can prove difficult. Blocked drains can lead to bad smells, expensive damage and even health problems. Knowing who is responsible for clearing a blocked drain or sewer is essential for any home or business. Now, Newham Council have sought the help of UK’s leading drainage company Drain Doctor to help combat any drainage issues across its residential estates.
The London-based company, which is part of the Neighbourly franchise, has been awarded a two-year contract with Newham Council to support its in-house repair and maintenance team for investigations, surveying, repairs and maintenance to its waste water drainage systems.
Starting from September, a team of highly skilled engineers will dig deep to locate, identify and resolve any damages or leaks across 16,000 housing and residential estates managed by Newham Council.
Drain Doctor uses state-of-the-art CCTV cameras to scan drainage systems underneath residential builds, helping to find, identify and fix any problems in an efficient and cost-effective approach.
Engineers will also map out locations of all sewers and drains, water flow direction and wastewater network across the borough to get a thorough understanding of the area they are working in.
Ian Robinson, Director of Drain Doctor London Central, is overjoyed at Newham Council’s decision to employ the Drain Doctor franchise to help combat drainage problems across the borough.
“We are delighted to win this new contract with Newham Council to diagnose and resolve any drainage issues amongst their residential properties,” he said.
“Not only are our engineers trained to the highest standards, but they have the commitment and knowledge of the latest drain technology to cure any drainage problems that the properties could face or are facing.”
Since 1994, Drain Doctor has established 55 franchises across the UK providing cost-effective plumbing services to homeowners and businesses.
They also provide a 24-hour emergency plumbing service catering nationwide.
Drain Doctor prides itself for its quick and cost-effective approach to identifying and solving drainage problems.
“We fully recognise that Newham Council’s housing is key to the standing of the Borough and we will do everything to ensure that whatever the concern, we can provide a quick, non-invasive and cost-effective way to detect drainage problems,” Mr Robinson said.
“We are really excited to start the work and look forward to working with the Council across their housing stock.”
