One Stop hits 100-franchise milestone

Hitting a milestone so soon into any venture certainly deserves a round of applause and for One Stop, the Tesco-owned convenience store chain, the speedy success of its franchise offering has had us raising our glasses in congratulations.

One Stop has already reached the remarkable milestone of 100 franchisees, 15 months since first opening up its doors to franchisees. Achieved just six months after the franchise unveiled its 50th“store, it certainly demonstrates how rapidly One Stop’s franchise operation has grown since the early part of 2014.

Champagne bottles won’t be popping yet though as celebrations are on hold for two months until the 100th“store, located in the Midlands, has undergone a transformation. Indeed, the store’s exact location is being kept under wraps until the full refit has been completed and the One Stop family can celebrate the momentous opening.

It all coincides with a One Stop franchise in Leicester signing up for the first ever in-store Subway concession for the company. The Leicester store on Evington Road will now serve punters night and day as it also became the first ever 24-hour One Stop shop.

In the 15 months since its franchise roll out, One Stop attracted well over 2,000 enquiries about its franchise scheme and with 100 franchisees joining the brand, the British Franchise Association has shortlisted”them for the Emerging Franchisor of the Year 2015 award.”

“Six months on from our first major milestone and we’re delighted to hit the 100 mark,” said Andrew King, franchise director of One Stop. “We have a passionate team of retail experts within franchise and they’re helping to deliver some great results for our franchisees.”

We’re excited to see what the One Stop franchise can achieve next.
