Franchising is a lucrative business when you know how it’s done. People are often overwhelmed with abundant information offered online claiming to teach you the ins and outs of franchising. But what better way to get informed than to receive regular insights from industry experts? Now, UK’s multi-award-winning homecare franchise, Right at Home, has launched its new podcast “Focused on Franchising” to provide valuable insight to anyone hoping to start their own business.

Right at Home has supported over 60 franchise owners across the UK helping them grow and build successful care home businesses, providing one-to-one care visits while supporting people to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. Now, the lucrative franchise is revealing valuable insider knowledge on exactly what it takes to start your own company through their new podcast, “Focused on Franchising”. Right at Home’s Franchise Recruitment Manager, Kate Dilworth will be hosting the exciting podcast giving tips and advice while covering the common myths around franchising.

There will be seven podcast episodes discussing different aspects of franchising and business ownership and will also feature special guests from the franchise industry. The first episode, which was aired on January 31, covered basic insights of franchising and including an insightful interview with Right at Home franchise owner, Mark James, on his experience in his first year of business. Future guests include Right at Home CEO, Ken Deary, and Chief Operating Officer, Lucy Campbell who will discuss various other topics, such as how to decide if franchising is the best career move for you and tips on choosing the right franchise industry to dive into.

In each podcast, you can expect to hear important financial advice from the UK’s leading experts on how to fund a start-up. Rob Orme from Hitachi Capital Franchise Finance will talk about the capital required to kickstart a business, and Ken Braddock from HSBC will speak about the options around bank borrowing. Ken Deary will share his journey from a franchisee to a franchisor, and what he thinks we will see in the future of both the franchise and care industries.

Through the “Focused on Franchising” podcast, Right at Home hope to reach out to people who are passionate about the franchise industry and to provide potential franchisees with a greater understanding of the industry.
