Frustration is the perfect spark to ignite entrepreneurial ambitions. Few people can testify to that fact as well as Lisa Curteis, founding director at Rosemary Bookkeeping, the outsourced bookkeeping franchise. Having grown tired of the leadership at her previous employer she quit her job, founded her own business and spent the better part of the last decade growing it into a raging success. And it seems as if”ServiceMaster, the multi-brand franchisor, has been paying attention as the company just bought Curteis’s business.

Given that the company is already the proud owner of Merry Maids UK, ServiceMaster Clean, Furniture Medic and TruGreen Professional LawnCare, it certainly seems as if the bookkeeping business is in safe hands. Not content to just sit back and cash in on Rosemary Bookkeeping’s success, ServiceMaster is actively looking to expand upon its current network of 15 franchise outlets.

Commenting on the deal, Lisa Curteis said: “Launching Rosemary Bookkeeping fulfilled a personal ambition to share my business know-how with others and I’m proud that we’ve been able to take the business this far and I’m excited for the future of our franchise partners and our brand with ServiceMaster.”

By all accounts, it seems like great things will come out of this partnership.
