Home Instead - the UK’s No. 1 franchise
Home Instead is an award winning franchise, which is looking for caring entrepreneurs to join its network providing quality care to older people helping them to continue living in their own homes.
Home Instead has over 230+ franchise offices operating profitable and successful businesses in the UK. Across the UK network, the franchise business supports more than 15,000 clients and employs in excess of 11,000 CAREGivers.
The company has a proven model that delivers both outstanding care and outstanding results for franchisees; put simply, they are making lives better for everyone. Home Instead’s mission is ‘To be the most admired care company through changing the face of ageing’ and this is at the heart of everything they do. A rapidly ageing population means there are high levels of demand for home care, as a result, Home Instead franchisees enjoy huge growth opportunities.
Home Instead holds a host of awards and in 2019 was named No. 1 in the Elite Franchise top 100 franchises for the second successive year.
Awards and accolades also include the coveted British Franchise Association (BFA) Franchisor of the Year Gold Award. They are the only care company to have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category. This was in recognition of the relationship-led approach the company adopts and the focus on quality and companionship.
They also hold over 62 Care Quality Commission (CQC) ‘outstanding’ ratings more than any other homecare provider.
Home Instead has consistently achieved five star rating in the Workbuzz (formerly Smith & Henderson) annual Franchisee Satisfaction survey. The 5 Star rating demonstrates that franchisees are highly satisfied with their business model, the support they receive and are truly engaged with the Home Instead ethos and all it stands for.
As a franchisee and business owner, you and your team deliver quality homecare with visits lasting a minimum of one hour. This allows time for CAREGivers to provide quality care and to form long and trusting relationships with their clients. Home Instead also matches clients and CAREGivers on the basis of background, culture, hobbies and interests; it isn’t surprising that Home Instead’s model is a marker for quality relationship-led homecare.
Training, Support and Collaboration
Franchisees receive specialist training from a highly experienced national office team which provides ongoing support such as business operations, finance, standards, quality, care, marketing and IT. Home Instead also holds events at which franchisees can share best practice, network and inspire each other.
Becoming a Home Instead franchisee
Home Instead’s franchisees’ principles and beliefs need to be aligned with the company’s vision. With a number of carefully mapped territories still available in the UK, there is a wonderful opportunity for someone with entrepreneurial flair, good people skills and a caring nature to make their own mark with Home Instead.
Many new franchisees are referred to Home Instead by existing franchisees, who are delighted with how their franchise journey has evolved, with many achieving £1 million turnover businesses.
As well as new territories, there are currently a small number of Home Instead territory resale opportunities throughout the UK.
