Home Instead’s managerial franchises can become a £1 million turnover business by years 3-4 with an operating profit of between 15-20%, a financial milestone achieved typically with around 130 clients. Franchisees with the right skills set and genuine empathy for the issues impacting seniors, naturally suit the role and are happy running their Home Instead business. Many of our current franchisees have gone on to run multi-million pound businesses.
Franchisees, their care managers and CAREGivers work together to deliver quality homecare, the Home Instead way, with additional PEAQ stats from 2015 to prove it. 97% of CAREGivers would recommend our services to a friend and 97% of clients said their CAREGiver takes an interest in them as a person, a fact born out of our one hour minimum visits, which give time to deliver quality care and companionship.
Every time a CAREGiver visits a client, it is care that comes from the heart and contact which is meaningful and enriching, for both parties involved. Considering that Home Instead also matches clients and CAREGivers on the basis of background, culture, hobbies and interests, it is not surprising that Home Instead’s homecare model is a marker for quality relationship-led homecare.
A Home Instead franchise territory is carefully mapped and will always have at least 25,000 adults aged over 65, which enables any franchisee to build a substantial business, wherever they are based. The overall investment is £90,000 - £110,000. This includes our franchise fee of £37,500 + VAT. Banks will often lend up to 70% of the total investment. There is also an on-going royalty fee of 6.5% of annual turnover, excluding VAT. Franchisees can develop, drive and steer their business, help to enhance the lives of seniors and provide solid career opportunities for their CAREGivers.

Home Instead also stages events at which franchisees can share best practice, network and inspire each other.
