Home Instead Senior Care
Home Instead Senior Care is an award winning franchisor, which is looking for caring entrepreneurs to join its network providing quality care to older people helping them to continue living in their own homes.
Home Instead’s trophy cabinet includes the coveted British Franchise Association Franchisor of the Year Gold Award, as well as royal recognition with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition of the innovation the model has brought to the care sector. It was also awarded the Princess Royal Training award for its training and skills development programmes. Home Instead is also the Elite Franchise number 1 in their top 100 franchises and has retained this position for two years.
Awards have come not only from the franchise community, but from franchisees’ clients and the care regulator too. Home Instead Senior Care has over forty offices rated as outstanding by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), more than any other home care provider. Prospective franchisees wondering if a Home Instead franchise is right for them, can gain reassurance from their many awards and accolades.
Recruiting and partnering with the right franchisees is key to this success and the joyous moments of care and companionship that occur in the homes of seniors across the country as a result, as clients and CAREGivers form lasting bonds. Home Instead seeks to partner with what it calls ‘caring entrepreneurs’, who can take its vision and use it to develop, drive and steer their franchise in their territory. To do this, Home Instead’s franchisees’ principles and beliefs need to be aligned with the company’s vision.
There are currently over 195 caring entrepreneurs operating profitable and successful businesses as part of an organisation that has 14 years’ heritage in the UK, over two decades of experience in the USA, and which is now in 14 countries worldwide. With a number of carefully mapped territories still available in the UK, there is every opportunity for someone with business acumen and good people skills, who also has a natural ability to care and propensity to network, to make their own mark with Home Instead. There are currently a number of Home Instead territory resale opportunities throughout the UK too.
Existing franchisees are already thought leaders in their locality and the conduits through which Home Instead is changing the face of ageing in communities across the UK. There is room in the Home Instead franchise family for more brand ambassador business owners.
Home Instead has consistently achieved five star rating in the Workbuzz (formerly Smith & Henderson) annual Franchisee Satisfaction survey. The 5 Star rating demonstrates that franchisees are highly satisfied with their business model and operations and are truly engaged with the Home Instead brand and all it stands for.
Happy Franchise Offices
Home Instead’s managerial franchises can become a £1 million turnover business by years 3-4 with an operating profit of between 15-20%. Franchisees with the right skills set and genuine empathy for the issues impacting older people, naturally suit the role and are happy running their Home Instead business. Many of their current franchisees have gone on to run multi-million pound businesses.
Franchisees, their care managers and CAREGivers work together to deliver quality homecare, the Home Instead way with one hour minimum visits, which gives time to deliver quality care and companionship.
Every time a CAREGiver visits a client, it is care that comes from the heart and contact which is meaningful and enriching, for both parties involved. Considering that Home Instead also matches clients and CAREGivers on the basis of background, culture, hobbies and interests, it is not surprising that Home Instead’s homecare model is a marker for quality relationship-led homecare.
A Home Instead franchise territory is carefully mapped and will always have at least 25,000 adults aged over 65, which enables any franchisee to build a substantial business, wherever they are based. The overall investment is £90,000 - £110,000. This includes our franchise fee of £37,500 + VAT. There is also an on-going royalty fee of 6.5% of annual turnover, excluding VAT. Franchisees can develop, drive and steer their business, help to enhance the lives of older people and provide solid career opportunities for their CAREGivers.
Training, Support and Collaboration
Franchisees receive the best quality training they could wish for, covering business operations, finance, standards, quality, care, marketing and IT. Home Instead also stages events at which franchisees can share best practice, network and inspire each other. With all of this training, and on-going support from industry-leading specialists at national office, a Home Instead franchise is an excellent opportunity for any caring entrepreneur. In fact many of its new franchisees are referred to the brand by existing franchisees, who are delighted with their business decision and how their franchise journey has evolved.
