We Love Pets
We Love Pets Ltd is one of the UK’s leading pet care franchise companies. We Love Pets was founded on the basis that animal safety and welfare must come first, which we ensure by requiring that all of our staff are first aid trained, police checked, and fully insured, and all boarders are licensed. We have also implemented a strict ‘No Pack Walk’ policy; we believe the safety of the pet and its handler is paramount.
Established in 2007, We Love Pets is owned by husband-and-wife team, Ryan and Jo White. The company has had the honour of being awarded the ‘Emerging Franchisor of the Year, 2018’ award by the British Franchising Association and has been listed within the top 100 UK Franchises for the fourth year running.
We Love Pets has led the way for animal care training and qualifications by introducing standardised regulations in a vastly unregulated industry. We Love Pets pride themselves on using the best providers available and are pleased to offer online pet care training to the entire network. Currently, they are the only pet care franchise to deliver City & Guilds accredited courses within their training curriculum.
They provide individualised guidance from business, marketing, and finance teams, so each franchise has the tools it needs for success. They have an in-house accountant, solicitor, and vet nurse, which allows them to provide profitability tips, legal assistance, and pet care expertise as well. In addition to our specialised teams, We Love Pets boasts a unique support system made up of our friendly franchisees and staff, who are always willing to extend a helping hand.
Despite a challenging year, they are extremely lucky to have some successes to celebrate. They have signed on 16 new franchises, started an affiliate pet food scheme, launched a dog grooming service, and set up the We Love Pets foundation. The foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to preparing and providing free, accessible educational materials on proper pet care, animal welfare, and safety. It is their mission to provide learning opportunities for those in vulnerable and disadvantaged situations, so that they can help to improve overall animal welfare standards across the UK.
