Hot on the heels of the launch of the bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards, the finalists have now been announced for the equally prestigious bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards 2015, supported by Express Newspapers. The awards celebrate the UK’s most exceptional franchisors in a range of categories, recognising their business growth and development, service excellence and commitment to ethical franchising practice.
Among the finalists for this year’s big award, bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year 2015, is former Elite Franchise One to watch, Water Babies, the national franchise that offers swimming lessons to infants. It is joined in the category by the likes of Driver Hire, the transport and logistics recruitment franchise, and Little Kickers, the football training franchise for young children. The other finalists are Agency Express, Auditel, Card Connection, Expense Reduction Analysts and Tax Assist Accountants
Elsewhere, One Stop and The ZipYard have been shortlisted for the Emerging Franchisor of the Year award, which awards companies that have been franchising for five years or less, whilst Home Instead Senior Care is among the finalists for the Customer Focus Award. The final two categories are the Award for Innovation and Franchisee Recruitment Award, with each carrying three finalists apiece.
“Thanks to the calibre of entries, we’ve arrived at a list of businesses that really highlight the diversity found in modern franchising,” said Andy Brattesani, UK head of franchising for HSBC.
“The finalists, a strong combination of established and newer franchisors, should be very proud to have been shortlisted for their dedication to exceptional business practices. We look forward to hearing more about their success at the judging.”
Finalists will present to a judging panel of industry experts in London on May 20 & 21, with winners announced at a black-tie dinner on June 25 at the ICC in Birmingham.
