Mark Scott is a very experienced franchise professional with over 25 years of industry experience.

He started his career with NatWest, where he worked for 39 years including the last 23 in their franchise team, including heading it up for the majority of the time. During his time with NatWest, he was a bfa board member, set up the EWIF Awards and worked with franchise networks at all stages of their development from new starts to long established international brands. 

In 2021 he joined Azura, the first UK franchise management software company, where he became Managing Director. Azura is part of the AIM listed Franchise Brands plc.  He left Azura in 2025 and has been working self-employed since then.

He is a regular speaker on franchise matters, columnist, including Elite Franchise and a judge for numerous Awards, including the EF100.
