Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries continues to prove this through franchisees like Cayden Herbert at Monkey Puzzle Stoke Newington.
Here, Grace Cole, managing director of Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries, shares why Cayden’s story is a shining example of what their network is all about.
Since opening her setting in November 2023, Cayden has quickly earned the trust of families in Stoke Newington with her warm, home-from-home approach to early years education. Now, just months later, she’s taken a bold next step by launching a brand-new preschool building right across the road from her existing nursery – providing even more children with a bright, dedicated space to grow, learn and get ready for the transition to primary school.
At Monkey Puzzle, we know that meaningful growth means putting families and people first – and Cayden’s expansion in Stoke Newington couldn’t show this more clearly. Since opening her doors last year, she’s created a setting where children from three months to preschool age feel at home, supported and inspired every day.
With demand continuing to grow, Cayden knew local families needed more – and she delivered.
“This new space is something we’re so incredibly proud of,” said Cayden. “Since we opened, we’ve felt so supported by our community – we knew we needed more room! The new building gives our preschool children even more space to explore, play and grow in confidence.”
The new preschool building has been carefully designed to help older children get ready for their next big step: starting primary school. By providing a separate space away from the main nursery property, Cayden is giving her children a taste of what ‘big school’ will feel like – helping them build confidence and independence in a familiar, supportive environment.
“It’s really important for our children to see that learning can happen in different places,” added Cayden. “Having our preschool separate from the nursery helps them understand that change can be positive – it makes the move to school that bit easier and more exciting.”
But Cayden’s success is about much more than just the children – it’s about her team too. The new preschool has created fresh opportunities for her staff, including new leadership roles like a deputy manager and a preschool room leader. “For me, watching our setting grow is hugely rewarding – but seeing my team grow alongside it is just as special.”
She goes on to say, “I’ve always been passionate about professional development, so being able to create new roles and pathways is an incredible feeling.”
Cayden’s journey sums up what makes Monkey Puzzle so unique. She started out as a practitioner in our network before stepping up to become a franchisee – so she truly understands the heart of what we do. Her passion, ambition and commitment shine through every aspect of her setting, and this new preschool is a perfect reflection of that.
At Monkey Puzzle, we’re so proud to stand behind franchisees like Cayden who go above and beyond to meet the needs of their communities. Supporting their growth means more families can access the exceptional early years education experience we strive to deliver – not just in Stoke Newington, but across the UK.
I, for one, can’t wait to see what Cayden and her team achieve next – and I know they’ll continue to inspire us all.
