Recognition Express has become the latest company to launch a campaign to help raise funds for local NHS Charities.

This long-established franchise has unveiled its NHS Teddy Bear initiative, with members of the public encouraged to purchase one of these personalised items for £25.

Over the past few months, NHS staff have become the true heroes of our community, with the deadly Coronavirus claiming more than 35 thousand victims in the UK alone – and this figure is sadly getting larger on a daily basis.

Now you can show your appreciation of nurses, doctors and other NHS workers by purchasing a personalised teddy, with the sole beneficiaries being NHS charities.

A statement from Recognition Express reads: “Postage is free and all profits will go to charity.

“This means at least £6 from each bear ordered will benefit local NHS charities.”

Standing approximately 18 inches tall, each bear has a multi-coloured rainbow, along with an NHS logo, on its tummy.

And when a bear is ordered online, the purchaser can personalise the item by adding a name of up to 15 letters.

Chris Masters, the operations director of Recognition
Express
, says: “The brightly coloured rainbow has become synonymous with gratitude for the NHS, as well as carers, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Rainbow themed products have taken on a new meaning, and we at Recognition Express have come up with a way for people to combine donating money to NHS charities, with sending a cute personalised NHS teddy bear as a gift.”

Recognition Express is the UK’s leading supplier of promotional products and branded clothing and, over the years, personalised teddy bears has been one of its most popular items.

Trading since 1979, the company has almost 50 franchise territories in the UK and Europe.

Chris added: “During the lockdown, families have not been able to meet up to celebrate special occasions or even the birth of a new baby.

“Normally, we’d be able to pop round with a cuddly toy to say happy birthday or welcome the new arrival but, in these difficult times, people have had to find other ways to send gifts.

“As a leading product franchise, we’ve built up a network of top-quality suppliers, so it made sense for us to stick with what we know.

“Our franchisees have been active members of their local communities for many years and we want to play our part in fundraising for the amazing NHS.

“Every penny of profit will go to local NHS charities. There’s nothing in it for us apart from the pleasure of knowing that the recipient of the bear will get a lovely surprise and that we’re helping to raise much needed money for charity.”
