From aspiration to enterprise, discover franchise success at the National Franchise Exhibition

On 3 & 4 October, the National Franchise Exhibition returns to the NEC, Birmingham. The event will inspire aspiring business owners and give them a clear view of how franchising works and how to launch a profitable venture.

Exclusively supported by the British Franchise Association (BFA), the exhibition will feature more than 100 brands. Visitors can meet names such as McDonald’s, Snap Fitness, Black Sheep Coffee, Visiting Angels, OVO Solar & Heating, and Greene King.

Over 50 free talks will cover every stage of the franchise journey. From introductions and real franchisee Q&A sessions to sector-specific insights, the programme is designed to inform and inspire.

Keynote speaker Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black’s, will share her talk, “7 secrets for every successful business.” She promises to deliver practical advice to help entrepreneurs take the next step and achieve long-term success.

Visitors can also book one-to-one consultations with experts. Legal specialists will break down contracts, finance providers will outline funding options, and consultants will share practical guidance on growing a business.

New this year is the finance zone, where major banks including NatWest, Lloyds, and Barclays will be joined by dedicated franchise lenders. Attendees can also join business masterclasses with Brad Sugars, the world’s number one business coach and founder of ActionCOACH. He will share proven strategies for running a resilient, profitable business.

For those already running franchises, the multi-unit franchise conference, sponsored by Akerman and Attivo, will be a must-attend. It brings together established operators and brands such as Subway, Anytime Fitness, and Home Instead, with insights on how to build and manage a larger portfolio.

Tracy Shah, managing director at Venture Marketing Group, says:
“For more than 30 years, the Franchise Exhibitions have given people the chance to find their ideal business. With exhibitors covering everything from hospitality and fitness to healthcare and education, thousands have launched their journeys here. We look forward to welcoming even more visitors to the NEC this October.”
