A Bright & Beautiful record-breaking year

Substantial growth during pandemic for franchised cleaning business.

No sooner had the dust settled on a successful year for domestic cleaning company Bright & Beautiful, than the Northamptonshire-based business set about planning for another record-breaking campaign during 2022. Founded in 2007, the company became a franchise two years later and currently have more than 70 business partners across England, Scotland and Wales.

Bright & Beautiful continued to expand during the pandemic and their managing director Jo Vorwerg explained: “I am absolutely delighted and proud of our franchise owners who have shown sheer resilience, passion and positivity throughout the past two years, which have been challenging times for most businesses.

“The highs that we are experiencing at Bright & Beautiful are incredible. Our franchisees grew their businesses during 2021 and, in the process, broke all records, which is something we could only have dreamed of.”

Speaking at the company’s headquarters in Brackley, Jo added: “I must also mention my team of dedicated franchise business coaches who have been working tirelessly to deliver consistent, world-class support. I feel confident that 2022 will be another brilliant year.

“Since the start of the pandemic our services have been in constant demand, in fact they have quadrupled, as the public’s need for housekeeping and cleaning services have grown.

“We service both domestic homes and business premises, and our franchisees have experienced revenue results never seen before. This led to our record-breaking year in 2021. This has also enabled our business owners to develop long-term sustainable operations.”

Bright & Beautiful provide as little or as much housekeeping and cleaning support as customers require. They train and employ professional housekeepers who offer a range of services from ironing laundry through to thoroughly cleaning an entire property. They can be hired for one-off occasions, or be part of a daily, weekly or monthly rota.

Among those companies who require their services are those seeking end-of-tenancy cleaning, as well as holiday letting businesses, or they can simply be hired to organise laundry duties. They use eco-friendly products and Kay Berry, of Bright & Beautiful Carlisle, is just one business partner who has made a successful start to life as a franchisee.

Opening her business during 2021, Kay says: “The training gave me all the tools I needed to hit the ground running, but I had no idea my company would take off so quickly. From the moment I went live, the phone never stopped ringing. The website notifies me about clients keen to secure our housekeeping services. I literally had an instant business and was able to recruit staff knowing we had clients waiting. I followed their franchise system and it works a treat.”
