Snap Fitness has announced a record-breaking opening for its latest UK gym, with Snap Fitness Redditch welcoming more members than any other previous UK location at launch.
The 24-hour gym, housed in a former retail unit in the Worcestershire town, opened its doors this week to become the brand’s largest site across the UK and Ireland, covering more than 15,000 sq ft. It surpasses the previous presale record held by the Winton branch.
The gym is the third owned by a franchisee group led by Kapil Arora and Rizwan Hussain, who have drawn on the experience of their earlier openings to build what they describe as their most successful launch to date.
“We’re really proud of what the team have achieved in breaking Snap Fitness’ UK presale record,” said Kapil Arora. “We’ve learned so much from our previous openings and it’s so exciting to see the direction that the brand is heading. It’s been some fantastic teamwork between the club team and Snap Fitness’ support office to create this incredible space.”
The Redditch site offers members 24/7 access, three group exercise studios including a dedicated 24-hour Reformer Pilates studio, Hammer Strength, Life Fitness and Booty Builder equipment, two infrared saunas, a dedicated recovery zone, and access to more than 1,000 Snap Fitness locations globally.
“Despite there being several other gyms in the town, we always had confidence that Snap Fitness Redditch would stand out and we’re delighted to see the reaction from our members and the local community,” Arora added.
Snap Fitness now operates 111 gyms across the UK and Ireland and has set a target of opening up to 20 new locations in 2026. The brand positions itself on value, convenience and high-spec facilities, with its franchise model offering operators a proven system and national support infrastructure.
