Soccer Stars Academy hits the target at the 2022 WorkBuzz Franchise Awards

With the FIFA World Cup well under way in Qatar, it seemed fitting that Soccer Stars Academy was named Best New Entry at the 2022 WorkBuzz Franchise Awards. This was one of five category awards up for grabs, when the prestigious WorkBuzz ceremony was held in Birmingham just a few days ago.

Soccer Stars Academy was given the nod ahead of The Little Sensory Company and Time For You, in a category reserved for franchisors who are participating in this event for the first time. Sponsored by Lloyds Bank, the WorkBuzz Best Franchise Awards are unique because they are based on feedback from thousands of franchisees.

Each franchisee completes a confidential online survey, in which they rate their franchisors on a number of issues. These include initial training, ongoing support, the franchisor-franchisee relationship, and whether they would recommend the franchise to a prospective franchisee.

For a company to qualify for this prestigious event, franchisors must first take part in the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme. WorkBuzz prides itself on helping companies discover what their employees and business partners think of their bosses, and this year’s annual awards ceremony was the 11th of its kind.

The other four categories were Best Franchise Business to Business; Best Franchise Business to Consumer; Best Franchise Children’s Services and Best Franchise Management.

And the other winners on the night were:

Pink Spaghetti (Business to Business);

We Love Pets (Business to Consumer);

Swimtime (Children’s Services);

Revive! (Management).

Steven Frost, the chief executive of WorkBuzz, said: “We would like to heartily congratulate all the finalists and winners of the Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds Bank.

“It’s been a big year and the quality of entrants has been consistently impressive. We’ve seen an ever-wider field of competition, with 23 first-time entrants. What continues to make these awards unique is that they are based on real feedback from thousands of franchisees.”

Suki Dehal, franchise development manager for Lloyds Banking Group, added, “We are delighted to support these awards once again. It has been wonderful to hear success stories from brands across various sectors and to witness how they are thriving in this challenging economic climate.

“The event has grown in stature over the years, which is testament to the work done by WorkBuzz. It has been invaluable to the growth of franchise brands.”

The full list of finalists for each category was as follows:

Business to Business: Tezlom, Pink Spaghetti, ActionCOACH.

Children’s Services: Swimtime, The Creation Station, Kidslingo.

About the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark (FSB): Overseen by WorkBuzz, the FSB invites existing franchisees to participate in a confidential online survey which asks them 32 questions about their franchise ownership experience. The franchise is assigned an overall FSB score. The highest performing franchisors are recognised at the Best Franchise Awards.
