Founded in 2018 in the heart of Leicester, Chocoberry has grown to operate 18 unique and ‘Instagrammable’ cafes in the UK and a handful in the UAE, Turkey and Canada. The brand has built a reputation for its handcrafted and extravagant desserts – from the viral chocolate strawberry knafeh cups to tiramisu French toast – and innovative all-day brunch menu.
A commitment to the highest quality is central to its proposition. Partnering with industry-leading suppliers, Chocoberry only ever uses the finest ingredients, including premium Belgian chocolate and small-batch, speciality roasted coffee. In addition, the Group leverages social data to identify new flavours and bring them to the market for the first time, driving repeat visits.
Reflecting growing demand for high-quality, experiential dessert experiences, Chocoberry has signed new franchise agreements to new stores as part of efforts to significantly scale up its position in the UK. This builds on new strategic store openings over the last 12 months, including locations in Manchester, Peterborough and Leytonstone, which has helped bring new customers to the brand and transformed it into one of the most ordered via Deliveroo.
New store openings and growing demand for its offer has helped drive a significant uptick in revenue in 2025. In the first six months of the year, Chocoberry saw revenues increase by 53% year-on-year.
By the end of 2026, the Group is targeting at least 50 UK locations and is actively looking for new multi-site franchise partners. Chocoberry is also exploring opportunities to enter new international markets, including North America, Asia and the GCC, as part of its strategy to scale to 100 global locations by 2028.
To support its growth, Chocoberry has invested extensively in its operations and supply chain. In Leicester, the Group operates a wholly owned and highly scalable 5,000 sq. ft. bakery capable of producing thousands of artisanal baked goods per week, which are a core part of its handcrafted dessert menu and unique customer proposition.
Ameer Nurmahomed, UK General Manager at Chocoberry said: “Chocoberry is going from strength to strength. When the brand was first launched in 2018, we saw a gap in the market for truly innovative and handcrafted dessert experiences in visually engaging café settings. Now, seven years on, we have built a highly unique and scalable business – supported by our strong brand, wholly-owned bakery operations, and thriving delivery channels – that has a fantastic opportunity to scale to become a household name.
