As a first-time mum, Angie was looking for ways to make new friends in her local area and as a musician, she understood how to use the power of music to support all aspects of early child development. She created an original age-specific musical curricula for babies and pre-school aged children and the rest as they say, is history.
Today, over a million families across the UK experience the joy of Monkey Music classes, delivered each week, by hundreds of specially trained teachers who have sung their way to a combined revenue of more than £55 million. At the heart of the Monkey Music success story is a thriving franchise network and its brilliant ‘bible’; a 4-stage age-specific curricula for children from 3 months – 4 years old. To celebrate 30 years, Angie has created a brand-new curriculum, Beautiful Noise™ which is for parents with newborn babies as they bond together and make sense of Baby’s world through sound.
