Golf Envy, the California-founded membership-based indoor golf franchise, has launched its UK franchise programme, bringing its 24-hour premium simulator model to the British market for the first time.
The brand operates on a lean, low-overhead model built around GOLFZON simulator technology, which features moving floor plates designed to recreate real course terrain. Units operate without food and beverage services, maintaining a distraction-free, private club atmosphere that the brand says reduces operational complexity and staffing requirements significantly.
Richard North, UK Managing Director, is leading the franchise recruitment drive. North said the model had been designed with investor returns in mind, with total initial investment ranging from approximately £276,400 to £696,724 depending on site specifics.
The launch follows a period of sustained growth for indoor golf across the UK, with simulator-based venues attracting both recreational golfers and serious players seeking year-round access to premium practice facilities. Golf Envy positions itself at the premium end of the market, targeting members who want a private club experience without the traditional club overheads.
