Renfrewshire-based children’s sports provider wins five awards, including Overall Class Provider of the Year, at the recent Class Business Awards 2026 in Solihull, Birmingham.
The business, which delivers children’s football and gymnastics programmes at more than 20 locations across the West of Scotland, also won four category awards at the National Conference Centre: Children’s Activity Provider of the Year; Scaling Business of the Year; High-Performing Business of the Year and Brand Excellence Award.
The UK-wide awards recognise class-based businesses in sectors including children’s activities, sport, dance, education and fitness, and attracted more than 400 nominations and entries this year.
Founded in May 2022 by Yousif Ahmed and Ajay Singh, Tots United began with one Saturday football class and now welcomes around 1,000 children every week. Both founders attended the ceremony wearing traditional Scottish kilts.
Yousif Ahmed, Founder of Tots United and a Scottish solicitor, said: “We started Tots United with just one football class in Renfrewshire in 2022. To go from there to winning five national awards, including the night’s top honour, is an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Tots United.
“Being recognised alongside so many inspiring businesses from across the UK makes it even more special.”
Ajay Singh, Co-Founder and Managing Director, added: “What makes Tots United special is the way our coaches bring our CARE and LOVE values to life in every session. Their energy, encouragement and positivity help children grow in confidence, learn new skills and, most importantly, have fun.”
This latest recognition follows further success earlier in 2026, when Yousif Ahmed was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Club Hub UK Awards and Tots United was ranked among the UK’s Top 20 Children’s Activity Providers for a second consecutive year.
Tots United is pursuing further growth across the UK and internationally, including through franchising.
