Catching up with Kris to see how his January shaped up, I was delighted to hear what a fantastic start to the year he’d had. Hearing the words ‘unseasonably busy’ and ‘capacity issues’ aren’t usually January issues, however what a great problem to have!
Speaking to Kris, he tells us all about it:
“It’s been a busy six months and a massive learning curve, but I’ve gone into the new year feeling comfortable and confident in my abilities. The team are in a great place and all of the groundwork from the last few months appears to be paying off with a high quantity of bread and butter jobs coming through. New orders for January are up vs prior year which is a great result and I’m sure this will be rolling into February too. I spent a lot of time building relationships last year and discussing wider projects with existing customers which seems to be coming to fruition.”

The Convention is never complete without the coveted Signs Express Awards! We were delighted to congratulate Kris with our Newcomer of the Year Award, recognising the enormous positive impact he’s had on the business along with his drive and ambition to take the business forwards. Upon receiving his award, Kris commented, “With such a talented network and great group of peers, I’m delighted to have won the Newcomer award. After months of hard work, dedication and a fair few sleepless nights, it’s fantastic to be recognised within the network, but also key to say that with a great team behind me, it’s definitely been a team effort to get us to this point. Here’s to more nominations for 2023!”
Overall, it’s been a great start to the year for Kris. With a new team member joining the ranks in February, we look forward to catching up with Kris and hope to hear about another exceptional month.
