Her keynote, ‘Ingredients for business success’ she’ll share how her passion for flavour, sustainability and entrepreneurship helped turn a bold idea into a pioneering, carbon-neutral business.
The event also marks the launch of The Franchisee Network Conference. Held within the exhibition on Friday, 30 January, this exclusive gathering will give existing franchisees the chance to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and gain practical, effective strategies for growth. There will be panellists representing brands such as YO! Sushi, Snap Fitness and Subway, who will share their secrets to franchise success.
A standout feature of the exhibition is the free, one-to-one advice served up by a cross-section of industry experts. The Barclays Finance Clinic gives visitors the opportunity to get expert, one-to-one financial advice tailored to their business goals. The British Franchise Association, specialist lawyers and consultants will also be on hand throughout the event to answer your questions and help you make an informed decision about your future in franchising.

Brothers in business: How Pav & Hardev Kang built a multi-unit empire with Anytime Fitness
Brothers Pav and Hardev Kang have always shared a passion for business. Before franchising, they successfully ran a property company, but both felt ready for a new challenge. They began exploring opportunities that would allow them to diversify, scale, and build something with long-term potential beyond the property sector.
Their franchising journey began at The Franchise Exhibition in 2022, where they first discovered Anytime Fitness. “The brand really stood out,” they recall. “The people were welcoming, the model was proven and scalable, and it offered the perfect balance between lifestyle and business ownership.” What struck them most was the strong support structure behind the brand and the clarity of the business model. “We could see it was a long-term opportunity with genuine backing.”
When choosing a franchise, scalability and support were their top priorities. Anytime Fitness delivered both. “From day one it felt like a community,” they explain. “They supported us with everything, from finding the right site and negotiating leases to securing funding and getting ready for launch.” Combined with its global reputation, 24/7 model and emphasis on member experience, they felt confident they had found the right fit.
Working together as brothers, and now as multi-site franchisees, has been both rewarding and transformative. “It’s been challenging but incredibly rewarding,” they say. “We each bring different strengths, and having Anytime Fitness guide us throughout the journey has made a big difference. Their ongoing support has helped us navigate the challenges of running multiple sites successfully.”
Looking back, attending the 2022 event was the turning point. “That event completely changed our path, it introduced us to Anytime Fitness and set everything in motion.” Their advice for prospective franchisees attending this year’s exhibitions is simple: “Keep an open mind, speak to as many brands as possible, and look for one that genuinely feels supportive and aligned with your values. For us, Anytime Fitness has delivered on everything they promised and more.”
Pav and Hardev’s story shows how a single conversation at The Franchise Exhibitions can spark a business journey that reshapes your future. Interested in following in their footsteps?
