BFA hail ‘landmark’ partnership with Venture Marketing Group

National franchising body launch new collaboration with exhibition specialists.

The British Franchise Association (BFA) has described its newly unveiled partnership with the Venture Marketing Group (VMG) as offering the franchising community an ideal “opportunity for growth and development.” This highly significant collaboration is expected to boost the BFA‘s educational and promotional agenda, as they join forces with VMG who, over the past few decades, have built a reputation for organising top quality marketing campaigns and exhibitions.

This latest agreement will be in place for a minimum of three years and the BFA will play an active advisory role in the development and growth of The Franchise Exhibition. The BFA will exclusively support VMG‘s market leading franchise exhibitions, which will feature VMG accredited franchise brands. In return, the BFA and its members will benefit from exposure through the VMG‘s large-scale marketing campaigns.

Pip Wilkins, chief executive officer of the BFA, said: “This partnership reflects the changing market and provides a much-needed opportunity to lead on education, as we innovate and evolve through a far broader approach. Our landmark collaboration will create opportunities for growth and development for our members and for the franchise industry as a whole.

VMG‘s reputation for delivering high-quality franchise exhibitions is second to none and the BFA are delighted to support these events. We are looking forward to the virtual event in May and welcoming the industry to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, on October 1st and 2nd. Hopefully, this will signify the return of the face-to-face exhibition, which wasn’t possible during 2020.”

VMG will support and work with the BFA to promote the benefits of the franchising format, delivering this message to as wide an audience as possible, across the company’s extensive media portfolio and with a particular emphasis on next generation education.

John Hancock, managing director of VMG, added: “We have worked with the BFA for many years and this new relationship represents a highly positive evolution of our partnership. Our objectives are closely aligned, and we look forward to developing new initiatives and growing our exhibitions alongside the BFA. Franchisors have been telling us that they are eager to return to face-to-face exhibitions, which form a central part of their franchisee recruitment strategy.

“Preparations for the flagship National Franchise Exhibition this autumn are well under way and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back on its traditional annual October dates. We are working closely with the venue and suppliers to facilitate a safe and effective return to in-person events. As always, our focus will be on delivering a high-quality product to visitors and exhibitors alike.”
