Home Instead’s TV double

Leading home care franchise sign new ITV deal to sponsor another Alan Titchmarsh show.

Following on from the success of their first sponsorship deal with ITV, Home Instead recently signed a second. Once again, they have joined forces with popular broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh who is fronting a brand new primetime show called Spring into Summer.

The nine-part series features Alan chatting to a different celebrity guest each week, and each programme involves a number of activities such as planting, erecting garden features and food tastings. The series will also delve into topics such as wildlife and farm animals.

Earlier this year Home Instead was the sole sponsor of Love Your Garden, which is another ITV show fronted by Titchmarsh and has been running since June 2011.  This new deal will continue to boost the profile of Home Instead, while highlighting the benefits of home care and support during later life.

As with Love Your Garden, the 71-year-old Titchmarsh will voice Home Instead‘s new commercial which will be screened at the start and end of each segment of the show. Each film clip, which will last no longer than 15 seconds, will demonstrate ‘a life well lived’ in the comfort of an elderly person’s own home. These clips will show how older adults can still enjoy fulfilled lives during their 70s and 80s – and beyond.

Speaking about the company’s ongoing partnership with ITV, the brand and marketing director of Home Instead Lee Chapman remarked: “It’s important for us to continue engaging with the British public to share our story about home care as a choice in later life.

“The majority of people wish to remain in their own homes, in familiar surroundings, as they get older. Through this TV campaign we will illustrate to families and their loved ones how this is possible with Home Instead.  We are thrilled that Alan will continue to represent the Home Instead brand on prime-time television. Response to our previous campaign tells us that he resonates with our target consumer.”

Home Instead provides ongoing marketing and PR support for the company’s UK-wide franchise network. They currently have 226 franchise outlets which have benefited from this increasing brand exposure through television.

Home Instead, whose UK headquarters are in Warrington, was named ‘Gold Franchisor of the Year‘ by the British Franchise Association (BFA) last autumn. They also topped the Elite Franchise Top 100 list in December of last year.
