Building on previous years of rapid growth, Caprinos has continued to cement its position in the UK, delivering strong topline sales growth of 18% with 14% like-for-like growth year-on-year. The Group’s success has been driven by key strategic initiatives, successful marketing campaigns, and new product innovation. Demonstrating the success of its approach, Caprinos was also named Pizza Delivery Chain of the Year at the 2025 Pizza and Pasta Association Awards, outperforming market leaders.
Extending its offering to include freshly prepared and a broader range of chocolate dessert pizzas, the Group also launched several new pizza flavours, including Chorizo Legend and Hot Honey Pesto – all which performed ahead of expectations.
In the period, Caprinos opened 17 new stores across the UK. Alongside this, the brand also launched into Ireland, opening its debut store in Dublin in early 2025 and a second Dublin site in December. Across all markets, Caprinos now operates more than 120 stores, with a diverse spread of stores across the UK alongside a handful of operations in Pakistan and Ireland.
Founded by Khalil Rehman and Gul Nawaz in 2014, Caprinos has quickly grown to become a leading franchised pizza operator in the UK championing high-quality ingredients and innovative flavour combinations served at affordable prices. Each year, the brand serves more than 10 million customers a wide range of tasty pizzas, freshly prepared pasta, sides and desserts.
As the brand scales its UK position, Caprinos has been investing in marketing to build overall levels of brand awareness in the UK. Today, the brand operates as a shirt sponsor for EFL Championship side Oxford United, as well as a kit sponsor for Northamptonshire Cricket Club – two key regional sponsorships that have helped drive local and national awareness of its offer. Alongside this, Caprinos has also launched several multichannel campaigns that blend digital media, traditional advertising, and direct mail to successfully drive first time and repeat orders.
As it continues to scale, Caprinos is aiming to continue its accelerated store expansion strategy, targeting 20 new openings in 2026 as it aims for 200 UK stores by 2030. Alongside this, it is also aiming to further bolster its international footprint with expansion into new markets in Europe and the Middle East.
Gul Nawaz and Khalil Rehman said: “2025 has been a really important year for us at Caprinos. We’ve doubled down on what makes us famous – unique and delicious flavour combinations at affordable prices – and taken our brand and marketing to new heights, winning important sector awards in the process. The sector is not without its challenges. However, our strong, double-digit like-for-like results show the strength and relevance of our proposition and a growing shift from consumers who are tired of the same old high-street names and looking for new flavours.
“In 2026, we’ve got even bigger and better plans to take Caprinos to even greater levels, both in the UK and internationally. It’s going to be a really exciting year that will take us one step closer to achieving our ambitions of becoming a household brand.”
