Chopstix opens new store at London’s The O2

Chopstix, the UK’s favourite noodle bar, has opened a brand-new branch at London’s O2 arena. The Pan-Asian restaurant has taken a spot at one of the world’s most popular live entertainment, leisure and retail destinations. The branch opened its doors to customers on April 1.

The new 1,991 square foot branch boasts state-of-the-art technology with a slimline order kiosk and ‘robo-woks’ to keep up with influxes of hungry customers on event nights. The store also contains a large, laminated video wall on the exterior advertising delicious dishes to customers. The new venue joins a host of the nation’s favourite eateries as part of the Entertainment District at The O2, which is also home to outlet shopping, several attractions, and the world-famous arena – all available under one roof. This marks a significant milestone moment for Chopstix with its brand-new spot at the iconic destination, rich in family-friendly dining and high-quality leisure experiences.

Chopstix has become one of the UK’s favourite chain restaurants, known for its delicious grab-and-go Asian dishes. As well as the classics Sweet & Sour Chicken and Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chicken, Chopstix has a range of fresh flavours including the spicy Firecracker Chicken with fiery garlic and chilli seasoning, and brand favourites like Chicken Katsu Curry and the restaurant signature Caramel Drizzle Chicken. Vegans can also opt for the restaurant’s signature All Leaf No Beef Teriyaki.

Janine Constantin-Russell, Managing Director at the Entertainment District and Outlet Shopping at The O2, said: “We are pleased to welcome Chopstix to The O2, marking the final piece to the puzzle as we celebrate a fully leased Entertainment District and commend the success that we have achieved over the last few years. Grab-and-go was an area that we were keen on expanding to deliver a variety of F&B concepts for visitors and mixed with our fantastic leisure operators and high-quality dining offers, Chopstix complements the destination and reaffirms our position as being one of London’s most desirable retail, F&B, and leisure locations.”

Menashe Sadik, Co-Founder and Director at Chopstix, said: “This is a huge moment for us – The O2 is an iconic location that we’ve long had our eyes on. The Entertainment District at The O2 is a space with such a buzz, delivering live entertainment, popular retailer destinations and leading hospitality outlets, and we know Chopstix will add to this, bringing tasty Pan-Asian dishes to more people than ever.”

The new store is the latest expansion for the business, with over 110 sites across the country including an additional 10 sites operating as Yangtze, and 25 franchise sites under the Chozen Noodle brand. Chopstix has stores in almost every major city and the country, with plans to continue expanding more sites in the coming months.
