Creams Café launches hot dessert line

Toasty Treats range features two Hot Pockets and two Fondant Melts, offering warm alternatives to Creams' signature frozen desserts

Creams Café launches hot dessert line

Building on the success of its first-ever range of award-winning HOT desserts in 2023, dessert parlour, Creams Café, will once again be introducing a new collection of warm desserts to its menu from 15th October 2024 – The Toasty Treats.

While the signature gelato is always at the heart of the company’s offerings, customer insight has shown that not everyone wants to indulge in a frozen/ cold dessert in the winter months. In response, Creams’ four new delicacies for winter 2024 will seamlessly combine moments of warmth and trending flavours, which sweet-toothed consumers are actively seeking out.

The new 2024 Toasty Treats range includes two new Hot Pocket variants alongside two brand new Fondant Melts:

These include Smores Hot Pocket – a crispy crepe pocket filled with dark chocolate sauce, melted marshmallows, and rich chocolate fudge cake, topped with even more chocolatey goodness. Served with a side of soft serve, it’s the ultimate winter treat. And priced at Dine-in: £7.45; Takeaway/Delivery: £8.45.

Also available is Choc Tiramisu Hot Pocket filled with creamy coffee custard and rich chocolate fudge cake costing £7.45 (Dine-In) and £8.45 (Takeaway/Delivery).

Rounding out the new range is the Banoffee Fondant Melt – an oozing chocolate fondant topped with Banoffee gelato, served with fresh banana slices and a pour-over hot toffee sauce (Dine-in only: £8.95); and the Pistachio Fondant Melt – chocolate fondant topped with Pistachio gelato and served with fresh strawberries and hot pistachio sauce (Dine-in only: £8.95).

As Everett Fieldgate, CEO of Creams Café, noted: “2023 was the first year we ever launched a collection of hot desserts in our 16-year history and the success far surpassed our expectations. In fact, the range reversed the typical drop in winter sales by 50%, fulfilling our goal of changing the narrative of Creams being solely a go-to summer spot. Naturally, we wanted to ensure we fulfilled… and exceeded consumer demand this year, which is why we’re excited to be bringing these four new products to market. We have no doubt they bring warmth, joy and delight to our customers across the UK.”

Founded in 2008 Creams Franchising Limited is the UK’s leading dessert restaurant brand. In 2021, it served more than 4 million customers, dishing out over 50 million scoops of gelato and 1 million milkshakes.

Its focus on quality and innovation has led to a number of awards including ‘Best Menu Innovation’ at the QSR awards 2023; ‘Most innovative Business at the UK hospitality awards 2024, and ‘Best Brand Partner’ at the Menu Innovation and Development Awards (Midas).
