F45 training network hits 100 site milestone in the UK and Europe

With Brits becoming increasingly health-conscious, it’s unsurprising the UK fitness industry is booming and estimated to be worth £22.8bn by 2020, according to Statista, the statistics tracking firm. One such industry player is F45, the boutique gym chain, which is pumping up its international expansion.

The Australian-born fitness franchise recently bulked up with the launch of its 100th site in Europe. With new sites across England, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Israel and Finland, F45’s UK and European expansion is going from strength to strength as the company looks to sell 185 studios in 2019 and 350 in 2020. In the UK specifically, F45 is set to launch its centres in Victoria, Birmingham, Bath and Shoreditch by the end of 2018.

Founded by Rob Deutsch in 2013, this international franchise has footprint in 36 countries already with approximately 1,300 franchises. Looking at its growing progress, we can be sure the sky is the limit.

Commenting on his latest achievement, Luke Armstrong, global sales director of F45, said: “We are overwhelmed by the reaction to F45 and the rate in which the brand has grown in the UK and Europe over the last two years. There are huge growth opportunities for us in Europe and we continue to work tirelessly to create a truly revolutionary and innovative brand that can flourish in every European country, as well as on a global level.”

Based on how F45 and other fitness franchises are making gains in Blighty, the industry looks like it will keep growing without breaking a sweat.”
