Finger lickin’ good as KFC signposts more jobs

Major recruitment drive will see 700 permanent staff hired ahead of Christmas

Major recruitment drive will see 700 permanent staff hired ahead of Christmas

Augmenting its 30,000-strong UK and Ireland workforce KFC is now hiring for various permanent roles across the country. The recruitment drive comes ahead of the busy festive season when demand for KFC’s chicken reaches a year-round high.

Open to anyone eligible to work in the UK and Ireland, KFC is offering both part-time and full-time permanent roles at restaurants across the country – from Southampton to Glasgow – and there are opportunities for everyone, regardless of experience.

Available positions include a mixture of customer-facing Team Leader and Team Member jobs and kitchen-based roles.

With the busy festive period fast approaching, successful candidates will have the option to start immediately. Like with all jobs at KFC, new team members will be given training and development opportunities to support their progression, helping them turn a job into a career at the UK’s original chicken business, which opened its first restaurant in Preston in 1965.

The recruitment drive comes as KFC continues accelerating its growth strategy in the UK and Ireland. The company is aiming to open 500 new restaurants across the country over the next decade, a move set to create more than 20,000 jobs, as well as supporting local economies and communities, and bringing KFC’s chicken to more people, wherever they are.

Today KFC operates over 1,000 restaurants across the UK and Ireland and is close to being a £2billion in that market.
