It’s time to doodle with Crayola and The Creation Station

The Creation Station has joined forces with Crayola to provide a summer of educational fun for children across the UK. Crayola, who are a well-established global company that specialises in manufacturing art supplies, is teaming-up with the popular UK franchise to offer local creative workshops.

These workshops will be adopting a Tom Gates-theme, where parents and children will be invited to demonstrate their ‘doodling creativity’. For those unaware of Tom Gates, he is a fictional character in books written and illustrated by well-known British children’s author Liz Pichon.

And what’s more, when the children create their own Tom Gates’ doodles, they will be competing for an opportunity to win a live workshop session with Tom’s creator Liz. Those attending the workshops will be able to experiment their doodling techniques using Crayola’s comprehensive range of coloured pencils, pens and crayons.

Crayola has been manufacturing art supplies since the 1890s and The Creation Station’s chief executive Sarah Cressall is thrilled with her company’s latest partnership.

She said: “We’re so excited to be helping children and families get creative this summer. It’s wonderful to be joining forces with Crayola to run Tom Gates-themed doodle workshops. This is a wonderful way to spark your child’s creativity which is always at the heart of what we do.”

Meanwhile, Jade Childs, the senior brand manager with Crayola, added: “We are delighted to partner with The Creation Station this summer to give families the opportunity to get creative with Crayola.

“We are also thrilled to collaborate with the popular children’s book and TV property Tom Gates – along with his illustrator Liz Pichon. This is the perfect partner to help families create a community spirit around the competition, in which they can win great prizes for themselves and their school.”
