Kitchen Makeovers welcomes five new franchisees

Home improvement franchise Kitchen Makeovers is continuing its rapid expansion with the addition of five new franchisees to its growing network

Kitchen Makeovers welcomes five new franchisees

These new franchisees have launched their operations in Guildford, Ipswich, Birmingham, Wrexham, and Worcester. As demand for affordable home renovation solutions rises, Kitchen Makeovers is poised to leverage this trend by broadening its services across the UK.

“It’s been a strong start to the year, especially with these five excellent additions to the network,” commented Will Frankling, co-founder of Kitchen Makeovers. “There’s been a sharp increase in the financial outlay for home renovations recently, with average spending escalating from just over £25,000 in 2022 to nearly £30,000 in 20231. It’s because of this that home improvement companies that provide a more cost-effective solution are more in demand than ever.

“Our business model continues to appeal to prospects from all walks of life and it’s great to see that our new franchisees have come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. We are committed to supporting our franchisees every step of the way as they grow their businesses and make significant contributions to their local communities.”

Guy Clark of Kitchen Makeovers West Birmingham spent over two decades working in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager before transitioning to franchising. “It was a rare break over the festive season with my family that ultimately led me to Kitchen Makeovers. I’ve worked hard all my life, just to see others reap the benefits and wanted something where I could be in charge. I knew I wanted to run my own business, but I have to give credit to my mum for suggesting franchising to me. I didn’t know too much about it all, but once I started researching different opportunities, I kept on coming back to Kitchen Makeovers. I’ve only just finished my first full month since launching but my work-life balance is significantly better, being able to spend more time with my wife and two children has had a positive impact on all of us. I’m convinced I made the right decision.”

Kitchen Makeovers prides itself on cost-effective products and excellent customer service, reflected in its average review score of 4.9/5.0 on Trustist. To ensure that new franchisees continue to maintain the high standard of service, they each underwent three days of comprehensive training at the Harpenden Head Office, covering operations, finances, marketing, and the product range.

Former landscape gardener Dale Pellatt invested in his franchise, Kitchen Makeovers Ipswich, after a chance encounter between his wife and Kitchen Makeovers Cambridge franchisee Colin Blackburn at a networking event. After hearing Colin’s positive feedback about Kitchen Makeovers and conducting his own research, Dale decided to enquire about a franchise.

“I really did my due diligence when I first heard about Kitchen Makeovers,” said Dale. “I looked at the competition, the demand for their services and the cost investment involved. I was excited by what I found and that’s when I made the decision to get in touch. Whilst it’s still early days, I look forward to the benefits this new opportunity will provide me and my family. The brand has a strong reputation that I can build on. This move is not just about changing careers; it’s a chance to create something lasting and impactful in the community.”

Will Frankling added, “Our franchisees have a diverse range of employment backgrounds and home renovations experience isn’t required. We look for franchisees who fit our culture and providing great customer service is what we pride ourselves on. We ensure extensive training is provided, so our franchisees are equipped to handle all aspects of kitchen remodelling with confidence and skill. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to transforming kitchen spaces as cost effectively and hassle-free for our clients as possible.”

This is a pivotal time for Kitchen Makeovers. With plans to continue this growth trajectory, adding to a growing network of 29 franchisees, throughout the second half of 2024, Will Frankling and the franchise support team have established the brand as the home renovation franchise investment opportunity of choice for prospects around the country.
