New UK business podcast gathers over 50

Their aim? To offer valuable insights from world-renowned speakers to a broader audience of budding entrepreneurs and business leaders. Thus, the ‘Business Excellence Podcast’ was born this May, hosted by high-performance maestro, James Vincent. The podcast covers a spectrum of topics vital for business growth – from sales, marketing and mindset to wellbeing.

The podcast’s enlightening conversations furnish listeners with the tools they require to elevate their business acumen and metamorphose into the business figures they aspire to be. Their formula has resonated immensely with the UK’s business community and further afield, with the podcast rapidly emerging as one of the nation’s fastest-growing business-centric casts, all without a celebrity at the helm. It has amassed over 50,000 listeners on platforms such as Spotify and Apple. Additionally, these sessions are filmed professionally, making them accessible on the Business Excellence YouTube channel, so far clocking up audiences of over 10,000.

James Vincent, with a pivotal role as Performance Director at ActionCOACH UK, leverages his vast experience in high-performance coaching. His illustrious journey spans more than two decades across sports and business. Notably, James has coached three Team GB athletes to top global ranks. One of his protégés achieved a historic milestone by clinching Great Britain’s maiden medal in men’s Badminton during the 2016 Rio Olympics.

One of the podcast’s major drawcards is the galaxy of eminent guests willing to dispense their invaluable insights. The guest list boasts personalities like Jhumar Johnson from the Open University, Ignyto Directors Simon Collins and Tom Boyce, and Jennifer Gitomer, a corporate stalwart turned successful coach.

Delving into his podcast journey, James commented, “It’s been transformative to fathom the psyche of such outstanding business figures. Our discussions illuminate not just their professional successes but also their personal triumphs. I urge everyone to lend an ear to our episodes; I’m confident each one offers a fresh lens on the business domain.”

On a related note, the learnings from the podcast will be personified at the forthcoming BizX conference in Liverpool next year, scheduled for 18-19th April 2024 at the ACC Liverpool. This grand affair promises not just insightful talks but ample networking opportunities, gourmet delights, live entertainment, and the esteemed annual BizX awards black-tie event.

Julie Wagstaff, Managing Director of ActionCOACH UK, expressed her enthusiasm, “We’re going into our 13th year of BizX and every year it keeps getting bigger and bigger! Our goal has always been to deliver an event that produces oven-ready guidance for business owners around the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and beyond. If you look at some of the speakers we’ve had in the past and have scheduled for this year, we believe we are helping so many to transform their business for themselves and the people around them.”

The forthcoming two-day conference will showcase the likes of former Dragon’s Den investor Piers Linney, acclaimed author and entrepreneur, Donald Miller, and global business coaching sensation, Brad Sugars. But this is just the tip of the iceberg with more remarkable speakers to be unveiled soon.

Central to the conference is the illustrious BizX awards gala, celebrating business achievements across the EMEA belt. Entries for these awards are now being accepted with a deadline set for 1st March 2024. These awards welcome all businesses, not just those mentored by an Action Coach. More details are available for eager participants.
