PayMore Stores, the U.S.-based electronics resale franchise, has officially expanded into the UK, marking the brand’s European debut. Grand Opening for the new initiative will be May 2nd at 12-14 Park St, Luton where co-founders Stephen R Preuss Sr. and Erik Helgesen will meet with entrepreneurs interested in developing the brand across the region.
The U.K. launch is being spearheaded by Liam Dalgarno and Nin Atwal, former Subway Regional Developers who once managed nearly 450 locations across the UK. With over 20 years of experience growing quick-service franchises, the pair is now shifting focus to the tech retail sector – starting with PayMore’s initial rollout in the U.K.
“We’re excited to be on the ground in the U.K. to support this launch and build local relationships,” said Stephen R. Preuss Sr., Co-Founder of PayMore. “With experienced operators like Liam and Nin leading the charge, and growing demand for resale technology, we see real potential for PayMore across the U.K. and beyond.”
PayMore has grown rapidly in the U.S. with over 600 units in development, offering an omnichannel business model that combines in-store electronics trade-ins, certified pre-owned sales, device repair and e-commerce through a proprietary tech platform. The brand serves consumers seeking more affordable and sustainable ways to access technology.

According to Statista, the global used electronics market is expected to surpass £11 billion ($14 billion) by 2027, with increasing consumer demand for sustainable and cost-effective tech solutions.
For Dalgarno and Atwal, the appeal of PayMore lies in its simplicity, strong tech infrastructure, and growing consumer alignment.
“Coming from the food franchise world, we were amazed by the simplicity of PayMore’s model,” said Dalgarno. “The limited hours, online revenue stream, and strong unit economics stood out immediately. It’s a smart, modern retail concept with room to scale.”
During their visit, Preuss and Helgesen will host informal meet-and-greets with prospective franchisees interested in developing additional PayMore locations throughout the U.K. and Ireland.
Founded in 2011 in Massapequa, New York, PayMore repurposes old electronics to reduce landfill waste.
