Menu changes reflect two emerging trends - premium sharing desserts and the growing demand for sophisticated non-alcoholic beverages

Leading dessert parlour, Creams Café, is hopping on two major trends with its new summer menu launch: premium sharing desserts and the growing demand for sophisticated non-alcoholic beverages.

On the desserts front, for example, Creams is introducing two new sharers perfect for groups of friends and families to enjoy together at £19.95 for dine-in; £22.95 for delivery.  The two new creations comfortably serve three-to-four people, and comprise:

  • Giant Tropical Mess Sharer: A spectacular mountain of meringue chunks, mango sorbet, coconut gelato and vanilla gelato, generously drizzled with mango coulis and topped with pineapple and mango chunks, finished with a sprinkle of desiccated coconut and fresh passionfruit seeds – a true taste of summer paradise
  • Giant Double Choc Salted Biscoff Cookie Dough: An indulgent sharing platter featuring double chocolate cookie dough, lavishly topped with scoops of salted caramel, choc chip, and white chocolate gelato, a shower of speculoos crumb and sauce, dark chocolate shavings, milk chocolate sauce, and toffee sauce

In the meantime, a 2024 survey revealed that 68% of 25–34-year-olds and 61% of 18–24-year-olds plan to reduce or completely abstain from alcohol in the coming year. To address this, while delivering alcohol-free alternatives that aim not to compromise on taste or experience, Creams Café has developed a range of visually appealing mocktails that deliver all the excitement of classic cocktails, but without the alcohol.

The mocktail collection includes:

  • Frozen Strawberry Mango Daiquiri (£6.25 dine-in/£7.25 delivery): A tangy, icy blend of mango sorbet, fresh strawberries, orange juice and crushed ice, crowned with a whole strawberry
  • Passionfruit Mojito (£5.75 dine-in/£6.75 delivery): Zesty lime, fresh mint and exotic passionfruit shaken and served over ice with fruit garnish – tangy, fresh and the ultimate summer refresher
  • Summer Breeze Iced Tea (£4.25 dine-in/£5.25 delivery): Freshly brewed black tea infused with peach, lemon, lime and mint, served sparkling over ice and garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint, for a revitalising summer sip

Everett Fieldgate, CEO of Creams Café, comments: “Our summer menu celebrates what Creams does best – creating moments of joy that bring people together. We’ve developed these spectacular sharing desserts and vibrant mocktails specifically for those who want to make memories with friends and family this summer. Each item has been thoughtfully crafted to deliver the extraordinary taste experience our customers expect from Creams, while providing the perfect centrepiece for summer socialising.”

He added: “Our research shows that 90% of our customers visit Creams with companions, highlighting our role as the ‘sweet glue’ that brings people together. This summer menu elevates that shared experience even further, giving friends and families the perfect excuse to gather around something truly spectacular.”

The new Summer Menu will be available across all Creams Café locations from 6th May for both dine-in and delivery, ensuring everyone can enjoy these limited-edition summer indulgences wherever they choose to experience them.
