It has been a busy 12 months for the Cambridge based organisation, who began their franchising journey in 2019, with multiple award wins as well as the onboarding of 30+ franchisees since September 2023.

The organisation was founded in 2017 by James Cutting and began franchising in 2019 with Co-Founder Jonny Martin coming onboard to launch the first pilot territory in South Cambridgeshire.

Since then, the organisation has seen remarkable growth, with the FFF now the UK’s leading children’s football coaching organisation. The franchise model has been delivered successfully in 100 communities across the UK and Ireland, bringing fun football experiences to children aged 18 months to 12 years old.

The journey to 100 franchisees hasn’t been without it’s challenges. Shortly after the organisation began franchising the UK was struck by the COVID-19 Pandemic, with heavy restrictions being placed across multiple sectors, including the children’s activity sector. Thanks to a dedicated team of early adopter franchisees, the FFF weathered this storm and has gone on to flourish, with a growing Head Office operation that provides wide-ranging support to the FFF’s franchise network.

When asked about what it means for the Football Fun Factory to reach the milestone of 100 Franchises, founder James Cutting commented “Five years ago Jonny and I sat down to write a business plan designed to franchise the Football Fun Factory across the UK & Ireland and launch 100 franchises. It’s incredible that the team have delivered on this goal, almost to the day, as we celebrate reaching 100 franchises. This achievement has been a huge collective effort from the directors and head office staff, through to our wonderful franchisees and their coaching teams.

The next steps for the FFF are continue to grow domestically and deliver on our next 5 year plan to

grow internationally too. We’ve also got a few exciting partnerships up our sleeve too, so look out

for big news on that soon!

With exciting plans now in place for the future growth of the organisation, the Football Fun Factory is set for the next phase of it’s franchising journey, looking towards future growth of the organisation, Football Fun Factory director and former Premier League winner Luke Chadwick outlined the next 12 months for the organisation…

This is just the start of our journey with huge ambitions of growing the team much

further. We have plans to continue to grow across the United Kingdom and Ireland over the next

12 months as we endeavour to put football on the doorstep of as many children and families as

possible to allow them to enjoy our truly unique experiences.

The excitement for the Football Fun Factory in 2024 isn’t finished just yet, with another 10 Head Coach franchisees set to join the organisation in November 2024. The impact that the FFF is having on communities across the UK and Ireland is incredible, with 15,000+ children set to experience the truly unique experiences offered by the FFF throughout September alone.
