WorkBuzz announce finalists for this year’s Best Franchise Awards

Survey specialists WorkBuzz have published the list of finalists at this year’s Best Franchise Awards.  Now in its 12th year, and sponsored once again by Lloyds Bank, the annual awards ceremony recognises the UK’s leading franchises across a range of categories.

These categories include: ‘Best Franchise Business to Business’; ‘Best Franchise Business to Consumer’; ‘Best Franchise Children’s Services’ and ‘Best Franchise Management’ – among others.

What makes these awards unique is that they are based on feedback from thousands of franchisees. For a brand to be included in this survey, franchisors must have taken part in the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme.

Regarding the collecting of data, franchisees are asked to complete a confidential online survey. They are asked to rate their franchisor in a number of different categories, such as initial training, ongoing support, their relationship with the franchisor, and whether they would recommend the franchise to a prospective franchisee.

The top performing franchisors are then put forward as finalists in the Best Franchise Awards. Among the brands nominated for this year’s event are: TaxAssist Accountants, Apollo Blinds, Jigsaw Performing Arts, FASTSIGNS, Pink Spaghetti, Daisy First Aid, Kidslingo, Molly Maid, Tezlom, The Creation Station, Revive!, Right at Home and My Window Cleaner.

There is also a Best New Entry category, which is open to franchisors who are participating in these awards for the first time. The winner of each category will be announced at the British Franchise Association’s (BFA) two-day annual conference, which is supported by WorkBuzz.

Steven Frost, the chief executive and founder of WorkBuzz, said: “As we reflect on the year, it’s fantastic to see that the average franchise satisfaction scores have surged from 74% in 2022, to an impressive 78% this time.

“This highlights continuous improvement, with a greater number of businesses being awarded 5 Stars. As satisfaction levels improve, it becomes more and more challenging to be selected as a finalist, making this a truly outstanding accomplishment for all.”

WorkBuzz has been in business since 2011, and their website says: ‘Our mission is to help organisations create cultures where every voice matters and every person can be their best.’

Their message to bosses is this: ‘We help you gather real-time feedback from your people, track employee wellbeing and therefore you can make more informed data-driven people decisions.’

About the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark (FSB): Overseen by WorkBuzz, the FSB invites existing franchisees to participate in a confidential online survey which asks them 32 questions about their franchise ownership experience. The brand is assigned an overall FSB score. The highest performing franchisors are recognised at the Best Franchise Awards. The annual Best Franchise Awards are sponsored by Lloyds Bank and based on feedback from thousands of franchisees
