Survey specialists WorkBuzz have just announced the finalists for this year’s Best Franchise Awards. WorkBuzz, which prides itself on helping companies discover what their employees and business partners think of their bosses, will be unveiling the list of category winners during November.
The annual awards ceremony, which is now in its 11th year, includes a number of different categories, such as ‘Best Franchise Business to Business’; ‘Best Franchise Business to Consumer’; ‘Best Franchise Children’s Services’ and ‘Best Franchise Management’ – among others.
But before a full list of finalists (documented below) can be reached, WorkBuzz collects feedback from thousands of franchisees. For a company to qualify for this prestigious event, franchisors must first take part in the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme. This programme asks franchisees to complete a confidential online survey, in which they are asked to rate their franchisor in a number of categories.
These include their experiences regarding initial training, ongoing support, the franchisor-franchisee relationship, and whether they would recommend the franchise to a prospective franchisee. The top-performing franchisors are recognised at the Best Franchise Awards which are sponsored by Lloyds Bank.

The list of finalists for a number of leading categories is as follows:
Business to Business: Tezlom, Pink Spaghetti, ActionCOACH.
Business to Consumer: Wilkins Chimney Sweep, Language for Fun, We Love Pets.
Children’s Services: Swimtime, The Creation Station, Kidslingo.
Management: FASTSIGNS, Revive!, Molly Maid.
New Entry Award: Soccer Stars Academy, The Little Sensory Company, Time For You.

The Best New Entry category is for franchisors who are participating in these awards for the first time and have received outstanding feedback. The winner of each category will be announced at the British Franchise Association’s two-day annual conference, which takes place on Thursday, November 24th, and Friday, November 25th.

About the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark (FSB): Invites existing franchisees to participate in a confidential online survey which asks them 32 questions about their franchise ownership experience. The franchise is assigned an overall FSB score. The highest performing franchisors are recognised at the Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds Bank.
