Slightly late catching up with Kris this month for a very good reason; the safe arrival of his baby daughter on 26th February! Now a new family of four and just six months into his new business venture as owner of Signs Express (Aylesbury), Kris has certainly got his hands full and enjoying every minute (although a few more minutes in the day may be handy at the moment!).
Hearing from Kris, he says “February was another solid month, with a positive performance and sales are on track, a really great start to the year. Life changed again at the end of February for a very good reason, welcoming our new daughter, however having a fantastic, loyal team back in centre gives you the confidence to take the time needed with family and know that you’re leaving the business in good hands.
Another busy month meant having our new team member Justin join the ranks has been a huge help in my absence. Although joining the business to support with sales and business development in the long run, Justin has been great getting stuck into production work for the last couple of weeks and getting to know the team. I’m really excited to see the difference this new role can make to the business over the coming months, also allowing me to focus more on the direction of the business and future goals.
February again has been a steady month of bread and butter work along with a few key larger scale projects too, which seems a good balance and working well for us at the moment. We’ve been working with a large cosmetics company recently on a great project including large external flex face signs along with internal illuminated signage and we’re looking forward to the installation in March if the weather allows!”
