Weekend fun with Creation Station

Devon-based franchise joins forces with Play-Doh and Smyths Toys to bring summer joy to children

Weekend fun with Creation Station

For the next four weekends, children across the country are invited to attend one of 40 Smyths Toys’ stores for a day of creative fun. The Creation Station, in collaboration with Smyths and Play-Doh, are offering youngsters the chance to enjoy a few hours of imaginative creativity.

There is no charge to take part and those who attend will be given a free tub of Play-Doh, as well as an activity booklet – while stocks last. There is no need to reserve your place, just turn up and enjoy.

Over the next four weekends, the dates to remember are Sunday, August 20th; Saturday, August 26th; Saturday, September 2nd and Saturday, September 9th.

The morning session will start at 10.30am, and run for two hours, while afternoon sessions will last for three and a half hours, beginning at 1pm. The one exception is that on Sunday, August 20th, the afternoon session will end at 4pm, not 4.30.

As Sarah Cressall, its founder, explains: “We are here to help nurture each child’s creativity and to help them develop their own ideas. It’s all about nurturing their imagination.

“We provide shared fun experiences that help to bond and unite parents and carers with their child or children. Our fun social events also help to connect and develop friendships.”

About The Creation Station: Founded by Sarah Cressall in 2002, the franchise has inspired over 1.5 million children and adults with their award-winning arts and craft classes, parties and events. They offer creativity for all ages, with sessions delivered by skilled, caring and personable franchise owners who make a huge difference to children, families and communities all over the country. From its Woodbury headquarters in Devon, the business is spearheaded by Sarah and her three sons.
