Fancy a VIP trip to Hollywood?

What do German Doner Kebab, Universal Pictures and a free fun-filled holiday on America’s west coast have in common? The answer: One lucky German Doner Kebab customer in the UK, together with guest, will have the chance to enjoy a ‘once in a lifetime trip’ to Los Angeles, where they will experience the VIP treatment for an entire week.

This fabulous California prize has been arranged to celebrate the UK cinema release of blockbuster Fast X, which hit the big screen on May 19th. The offer of a free luxury holiday was launched on May 12th, seven days before Fast X (which was distributed by film production company Universal Pictures) had reached UK cinemas.

And to earn a chance of winning this remarkable prize, customers need to scan the QR code received following every purchase of a German Doner Kebab, and then follow the online instructions to enter the competition. As for the prize itself, the winner – and guest – will fly out from London to spend one week in a luxury VIP rental in the heart of Los Angeles.

The pair will experience a stunt masterclass hosted by a professional Hollywood stunt coordinator. Also included will be a private tour of filming locations, while travelling in a 1970s vintage convertible. There will be a pit stop lunch, enjoyed at a restaurant featured in the Fast films’ series, as well as a sunset helicopter flight over and around the city of Los Angeles.

For fans who miss out on this LA experience, there is a host of runner-up prizes. Among these will be official exclusive film merchandise, along with vouchers and discount codes to use at German Doner Kebab restaurants.

Fast X marks the latest chapter in one of cinema’s most popular global franchises.  As part of the Fast & Furious franchise, which over 22 years has produced 10 popular action films, Fast X welcomes the return of cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood and Vin Diesel. Among the new cast members are Oscar winners Brie Larson and Rita Moreno.

Ed Duah, the Director of Brand Partnerships at German Doner Kebab, said: “We’re so hyped to team-up with Universal Pictures and their new film Fast X. And we are pleased to offer this once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience to one of our customers.

“Culture is at the heart of what we do and, following our successes in the entertainment industry over the last few years, we can’t wait to bring German Doner Kebab to cinema fans across the country.

“We have cemented ourselves as a culturally forward-thinking brand, well-versed in securing dynamic collaborations. Having joined forces with some of the most in-demand musicians, to launch our first pink kebab last year, the chain prides itself on thinking outside the box.

“Our mission is to revolutionise the UK kebab. We recently unveiled our 150th worldwide outlet – at Weston-super-Mare in Somerset – which brings our number of UK restaurants to almost 130.”

About German Doner Kebab: Opening its first restaurant in Berlin 34 years ago, GDK spent the first decade developing its products and recipes, while creating its own unique blend of spices.
