There are few things that can breathe new life into a home quite like giving the kitchen a facelift, which is undoubtedly why kitchen renovations seem to be a recession-proof industry. But if you need evidence of just how much demand there is for kitchen refits, look no further than Dream Doors, the kitchen renovation franchise, which has sold its 40,000th kitchen since it began trading in 1999.
The sale was made by Katie and Sean Hebdon, owners of the Chandlers Ford Dream Doors franchise, which is one of the network’s highest performers and the winner of the chain’s Outstanding Performance of the Year award. The kitchen was purchased by Mr and Mrs Bennion from Romsey, who were gifted a hamper of luxury foods and drink in recognition of the landmark sale.
This is yet another victory for Dream Doors in what promises to be a very successful year. Not content with hitting this milestone, the company was recently recognised at the 2015 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards, where it netted Franchisee Recruitment of the Year Award. It is also set to top a turnover of £25m this year, showing just how much appetite there is in the market for the franchise’s services.
