First held in 2010, the awards’ ceremony celebrates the very best in franchising, within the UK.

According to a press release issued by EWiF: “These awards are open to those who are committed to franchising excellence. The various categories honour the best franchisors, franchisees, franchise employees and even service providers to the industry.

“We, at EWiF, believe franchising is a great way for talented female entrepreneurs and business leaders to shape the future. They are pioneers, innovators and visionaries who push boundaries and set new standards. They also know how to overcome adversity. This awards’ ceremony allows us an opportunity to recognise those achievements.

“We celebrate women from every sector, of all ages, and all sizes. Tell us how your vision has grown a successful business or how your leadership skills have inspired others. Has your innovative approach brought change to your sector? Do you have a standout franchisee or employee who deserves recognition? If so, we want to hear about it.”

The benefits of taking part:

  • Opportunities for personal and brand publicity for those who are shortlisted. Contact your local TV station, radio channels and newspapers.
  • Added trust and credibility. Update your website, social media accounts and email logos with the badge you receive for being a finalist.
  • Potential national recognition for your achievements, which also helps to amplify your brand and reputation.
  • Great opportunities for networking.
  • Plenty of good will to enjoy by celebrating the achievements of your support teams and business partners.
  • A good way to attract more franchisees, when you position your brand as ‘best in class.’
  • Winning an award is an endorsement for your business, plus a great way to differentiate your company from your competitors.

The press release continues: “The process of writing your entry, gives you the time to reflect on all of your successes throughout the year. The awards are free to enter and open to all UK-based franchises.”
