It has certainly been a busy old spring for Puddle Ducks. Not only were its co-founders Tracy Townend and Jo Stone recently nominated for the EWIF Franchisor of the Year Award but the children’s swimming-lesson franchise has just hatched a new partnership with Butlins.
This new collaboration will see Puddle Ducks deliver swimming programmes to children under the age of three at Butlins seaside resorts. These swimming lessons will be included in the holiday-camp operator’s new Teeny Tots programme, aimed at providing parents with a comprehensive range of activities designed especially to meet the needs of toddlers.
“Puddle Ducks has impressed us from day one,” said Hywel Lewis, partnership manager of Butlins. “[Its] industry expertise, energy and enthusiasm for teaching children and their parents to swim and enhance their water confidence is a fantastic addition to the product.”
And he clearly wasn’t the only one to be excited about the partnership as Townend was delighted to work with the affordable holiday provider. “It makes total sense to be offering families this opportunity to teach babies and pre-school children a new life skill in a safe environment,” she said. “[You’re] never too young to start enjoying water-based fun, which will hopefully turn into a passion for swimming that will last a lifetime.”
With this new partnership, Puddle Ducks is sure to keep making a splash in the world of franchising.
