Revive! launch ambitious recruitment drive

Mobile paint repair business unveils five-year plan to recruit 200 new technicians.

Warwickshire-based mobile paint vehicle repair business Revive! has set their sights on becoming the dominant player in the used car market, after posting their best-ever sales figures during the last financial year. Revive! made this announcement during their recent annual conference when they said they wanted to recruit over 200 more SMART* repair technicians before 2027. With headquarters in Rugby, the company is keen to take advantage of the significant repair opportunities that are now available in this booming market.

Their UK operations director, Andy Hupfield, commented: “We are tremendously excited about the opportunities ahead after announcing our expansion plans at our national conference. We now need to recruit the right people to help achieve this. I would encourage any talented and ambitious SMART repair and bodywork technicians to contact us as soon as possible.

“Opportunities in the used car market are booming and Revive! has clearly benefited from this. We recently celebrated our best sales year ever, with our multiple-business franchises exceeding £1m in annual turnover. We currently have more than 50 franchise owners who are just as motivated as we are at HQ, and they all want to expand their teams and grow their businesses.”

This ambitious recruitment plan would more than double their current workforce, as Revive! aims to increase their annual network sales to £40m. Revive! employs the UK’s largest accredited network, with more than 200 IMI** certified repairers. Revive! has also set a target to grow their number of franchisees to over 100 during the next five years. Among the typical jobs that their technicians carry out on a daily basis are rectifying panel damage, paint scratches, small dents as well as repairs to alloy wheels.

Over 150 delegates attended their 18th annual conference where joint-managing directors Mark Llewellyn and Terry Mullen laid out the company’s plans for the next five years. Hupfield added: “Revive! has made huge strides over the last two years with investment in IT efficiencies and digital marketing.

“Thanks to the opening of our IMI accredited training centre in 2020, we now have the facilities and expertise to grow our team from 200 fully trained repairers to more than 400, over the next five years. We are growing, so we are hiring, and we will continue to hire as we continue to grow.” This purpose-built training academy in Rugby allows Revive! to train and fast track novices who want to become SMART repair technicians, despite no previous experience.

Founded in 1994, Revive! has a nationwide network of franchisees and is a member of the Institute for the Motor Industry (IMI). For the past five years they have been ranked inside the top 25 of the Elite Franchise top 100 list.

About Revive! Is a full member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) and the UK’s largest network of accredited repairers. Their franchisees run highly profitable multi-van businesses. These mobile units help keep overheads low, while offering a convenient service for customers. Among their regular clients are car dealerships, fleet and lease companies, insurance companies, as well as members of the general public.
