Slim Chickens launch July 4th promotion

New products unveiled, as brand expands in UK.

Slim Chickens has launched a huge promotion to celebrate its American roots by introducing a selection of new products on Independence Day (July 4th). The brand has only been in the UK for five years, but already has 45 restaurants – with many more to open in 2023. The brand was originally launched in 2003 in Arkansas.

Regarding its Fourth of July celebrations, it has launched a Slimdependence Day campaign across all marketing channels and will be holding a parade at its flagship restaurant at London’s Cambridge Circus.

Slim Chickens is also giving away a trip to New York with £1,000 spending money. Anyone who buys a ‘Tenders Meal’ between June 27th and July 11th – and scans their loyalty card into the app – will be entered into the draw.

On July 4th, they will launch their new ‘Buffalo Blue Loaded Fries’ and ‘Caramel Flake’ products, along with many special offers and discounts to be enjoyed during the month of July.

“We have a large loyal customer base, which continues to grow, and we appeal to a wide demographic. Our app has been a big success and is helping to drive loyalty. Our social media following is also expanding, supported by collaborations and word of mouth recommendations.”

Pigott added: “The Slim Chickens fast-casual dining experience has brought something new to the UK. We’re continuing to innovate with new technology and recipes, as well as roll out new restaurants in major cities around the UK.

“We are always looking to be first to the market with new products. Our recipes are split between the US development team and the one here in the UK. Shakes and our plant-based products were created in the UK. Our Buffalo, Gravy Mayo and Sweet Chilli sauces were developed for the UK Market.

“Our Cadbury collaboration has been a success and we continually engage with audiences to find out what they want to see from us next. It’s a hugely exciting time for the brand, and we’re delighted to be opening in Trinity Leeds this month.”
