It’s been a busy few weeks for the team from Tezlom. Not only did they hold a training week for their franchisees in the north-west, but members of the network also gathered for their latest conference in Luton. And that wasn’t all: They continue to welcome new business partners into their growing UK network, including the Thacker family from Wandsworth, south-west London.

Tezlom specialise in the recruitment of care assistants, support workers and registered nurses. What began as a small, family-run business has grown into an established franchise that serves healthcare institutions across the UK, such as NHS Hospitals, care homes and learning disability units.

They are one of the UK’s leading healthcare and nursing agencies, with Tezlom providing staffing solutions 24/7 and 365 days a year. They offer flexibility and are ready to provide support in moments of emergency.

From their north-west headquarters in Southport, Tezlom held a ‘learning and support’ week, when franchisees from across the region came together to expand their knowledge base.

Group Business Development Manager, Oliver Beaumont, led a number of the sessions which included topics such as ‘expanding knowledge of the industry’, ‘sales techniques’, ‘appointment-making’, and ‘breaching new markets’. There was a day dedicated to one-to-one training, as franchisees received personalised support and guidance, tailored to their own individual needs.

Oliver remarked: “I’m incredibly proud of how everyone embraced the challenges presented this week. There was a real eagerness to learn and grow. This week will be a positive turning point for everyone involved.

“Franchisees gained valuable insights and skills that will help them grow their businesses and achieve even greater success in the future. There was a wonderful camaraderie between franchisees, and the future looks bright.”

Roz Armitage, who is a director at Tezlom, added: “We have a motto which says ‘never stop learning’. And this week was a true testament to that motto. Franchisees embraced the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills, fully supported by the team at Tezlom.”

Meanwhile, in Bedfordshire, Tezlom franchisees held a conference under the banner ‘How to drive sales, brand loyalty and create memorable customer experiences’. Hosted by Jamie Wray, he told franchisees about ideas and strategies which could inspire their businesses going forward. He discussed how business partners can implement new ideas and strategies, and he said: “I believe franchisees are feeling more confident than ever.

“They are ready to drive their businesses forward and make a real impact in their communities. It was incredible to see the passion and dedication of the Tezlom franchise network. These conferences provide the perfect platform for inspiring and motivating franchisees, and I was honoured to be a part of it.”

Tezlom announced that their next conference will focus on leadership and further nurturing of their network. As with most Tezlom gatherings, these conferences illustrate excellent peer-to-peer support and camaraderie.

Director Ryan Armitage, whose mother Roz helped to launch the family business in Southport 16 years ago, explained: “Such gatherings remind everyone that they are not alone in their journey.

“Our conferences are more than just a chance to learn new skills and strategies. They are an opportunity for our franchise network to come together, share experiences, and support one another. These face-to-face meetings are invaluable for nurturing our network and driving our businesses forward.

“The importance of these quarterly conferences cannot be overstated. They provide a regular opportunity for franchisees to join together and learn from each other. It enables the network to remain up to date regarding the latest industry trends and best practices.”

And finally, in south-west London, Tezlom unveiled their latest franchisee – the Thacker family from Wandsworth. After 12 months of deliberation, after consulting with family members, Paresh and Arjun Thacker officially became Tezlom franchisees in April.

They’ve recently completed three weeks of intensive in-person training, working with Group Recruitment Manager Cheryl Givnan and Group Compliance Manager Amanda Dollah. They are now moving on to the next phase of training, which includes business development with Oliver Beaumont.

Arjun, who has a background in quantity surveying, first heard about Tezlom when he attended a franchise exhibition last year and spoke with Ryan Armitage. He is now part of a family that are proud owners of Tezlom’s Wandsworth territory. The Thacker’s have already started recruiting care workers, support workers and nurses.

Recruitment Manager, Cheryl Givnan, said: “Arjun and Paresh are extremely quick learners. They are already implementing the good habits of a top-performing territory. We are extremely excited to see their journey unfold with this father and son partnership leading the way. We have no doubt that they will achieve great success and make a positive impact in their community.

“Franchising is more than just running a business. It’s about building a legacy, creating opportunities, and supporting each other every step of the way. We are proud to welcome the Thacker family to the Tezlom network, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.”
