New outlet – set to be rolled-out in Sheffield – will be offering URBAN’S standard fresh made-to-order burgers and hand-cut fresh fries at a prime location in one of the city’s most vibrant food hubs.
Due to be situated in Ecclesall Road, it’s expected to open by November 2024, offering 35 covers for dine-in customers and making takeaways available too.
URBAN, which was started in 2017 by husband and wife team Mehmet and Zerin, launched its first URBAN in Wheatley, Doncaster. Seven years and five stores later it serves up fresh ingredients on soft brioche buns to a growing following across Yorkshire.
In the meantime it has built a brand recognised for top quality food and ultimate customisability. And with 17 free toppings to choose from too. The streamlined menu offers premium quality throughout, from the 100% fresh beef to homemade veggie burgers as well as fresh fries chipped daily and cooked in healthier allergen-free groundnut oil.
As an incentive the company offers a rewards scheme. Tap your phone every time you order. For every burger you order, you’ll earn one stamp, meaning more burgers, more stamps. Collect 9 stamps and the next burger is on the company.
The Ecclesall Road location follows the brand’s earlier announcement about expanding its presence through franchising. Sheffield is seen as representing an ideal market for growth, with a strong community of food lovers and thriving dining scene, according to the company.
