Widen your business horizons and ambitions

There’s something for everyone at April’s International Franchise Show in East London. Taking place, once again, at the ExCeL Centre in Royal Victoria Dock (E16 1XL), this year’s two-day extravaganza is being held on Friday, April 12th and Saturday, April 13th.

Those who attend will enjoy free access to over 250 exhibitors and 60 seminars, not to mention one-to-one guidance from the many business experts all under one roof. On show will be franchise opportunities with businesses which have their headquarters in many different countries. And some of these brands offer franchise deals which can be acquired for less than £10k.

The event, which is being organised by Bristol-based MFV NSE Ltd, is hosting more than 50 international brands across many different sectors. With over 10,000 people expected to attend, visitors will enjoy the opportunity to speak to hundreds of experienced franchisors, all waiting to impart important business advice and knowledge to would-be entrepreneurs.

Among the keynote speeches will be officials from global brands such as Specsavers, Natwest, The Federation of Small Businesses, Mathnasium and Tutor Doctor. The International Franchise Show has been a regular diary date for more than a decade.

And, in this year’s pre-event press release, the organisers have made a special mention about the growing franchise presence of children’s activity brands. The show is being presented in partnership with Kindling Franchise Consultants, which is a Maidenhead-based business consultancy keen to highlight the many up-and-coming franchise brands specifically for children.

The official press release reads: ‘Children’s activity brands have been on the rise as parents are invested in getting their children into exercise. They are encouraging them to develop a sense of adventure and explore the outdoors.  This is most likely due to the rising impact of technology on children and their development.

‘The industry has been born out of wanting to educate and entertain children, and put them back in touch with nature. The Franchise Show and Kindling Consultants are providing a platform for the leading franchise brands to connect with future franchisees.’

Elsewhere, one particular favourite with regular attendees of The International Franchise Show is the US Pavilion which hosts many leading American brands. Franchising, as an industry, is huge in the United States and many of the nation’s well-known brands are keen to increase their presence in the UK.

Another feature in 2024 is The Supplier Zone which showcases the products and services that any franchise needs in order to function successfully. These organisations offer a host of different services, including marketing guidance, legal and banking support, real estate advice and technology. The press release describes The Supplier Zone as ‘a must-see for those starting out or wanting to improve their efficiency.’

The International Franchise Show is the ideal platform for like-minded individuals to meet-up for a chat – quite possibly at the arena’s ‘coffee networking area.’ As the press release says: ‘Everyone you meet will have a vested interest in the world of franchising.’
